Nowadays, occupational selection is a subject of debate. Some argue that it is better to remain jobless rather than work in a job that is not enjoyable. I partly disagree with this notion.

On the one hand, I believe that choosing unemployment is not advisable, as it can lead to lack of income. Being unemployed means individuals may struggle to afford basic needs such as food, clothing, and shelter. Worse, they might also be unable to access healthcare. This situation can result in financial strain, as well as stress and anxiety. Additionally, it is unreasonable for some people to quit their jobs simply because they do not enjoy them, as they may fail to realize that unemployment can disconnect them from society. For example, someone working as a lawyer might find the job stressful or uninteresting and decide to quit. However, by leaving, he risks losing valuable social connections and professional networks, which could eventually lead to isolation and a sense of purposelessness.

On the other hand, I acknowledge that it may be better to be unemployed rather than become demotivated. When people are stuck in jobs they dislike, they may lose their motivation, which can affect not only their physical health but, more importantly, their mental well-being. They may become unhappy, which can hinder both their professional growth and overall health. Furthermore, with the rapid changes in the job market, taking a break from work can be reasonable. There are numerous opportunities today, such as freelancing and remote work, that allow individuals to pursue careers aligned with their interests. Those who choose unemployment temporarily will likely find satisfying job opportunities in the future.

In conclusion, whether individuals should choose joblessness or continue working in jobs they do not enjoy depends on personal circumstances. Thus, I understand both perspectives.

Nowadays, the question of who should financially assist art creators is a subject of significant debate. Some insist that they should be financed by the authorities, while others claim that artists should seek help from other individuals or organizations. In my opinion, both sides are sensible.

On the one hand, the benefits of government funding for artists cannot be denied. Firstly, it can help preserve culture. Oftentimes, works of art related to culture are forgotten because artists no longer create them. If these artists are well funded, the government can ensure that artworks reflecting cultural heritage are continued and preserved for future generations. Secondly, the number of artists would likely increase. There is a common belief that jobs related to arts are not income-generating. Hence, people pursue other careers. However, if artists are financially supported by the government, more and more people will pursue their interest in the arts. This could create a large pool of artists, fostering innovation and diversity in the realm of arts.

On the other hand, some say that artists should seek help from other sources. This is particularly relevant when considering the government’s financial burden. The arts are not as urgent as people’s basic needs such as food, shelter, and clothing. If artists were financially assisted by the government, this could potentially lead to underfunding in other essential sectors. In addition, it may limit artists’ expression. Since the government provides the funding, artists may be required to follow certain rules, inhibiting their artistic freedom. This may lead to monotonous creative outputs and, worse, arts that only align with political agendas.

In conclusion, I concur that artists should be financially assisted by both the administration and other sources. By doing so, arts will continue to flourish without burdening either.

Some people think adults should learn practical skills by themselves, while others believe that learning from a teacher in a classroom is better. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

Various perspectives on the most effective approach to learning practical skills are on the rise. Some suggest studying independently, while others encourage in-classroom learning with professional educators. I think both sides have merits, but I prefer the latter.

On the one hand, learning independently is good as it eliminates personal issues or distractions. Usually, when learning with teachers, trainees get annoyed easily when someone frequently reminds, corrects their flaws, or trains them at such a speed they dislike. This leads to conflicts and sometimes interrupted learning. By contrast, learning by oneself, adults can work at their own pace without having people tell them what to do next or how to do it. They discover techniques on their own and perfect a particular skill without others’ help, which in the end develop their self-esteem and overall knowledge.

On the other hand, it cannot be denied that in any form of learning, teachers play crucial roles when humans need to learn something. Whether it is practical skills or other forms of knowledge, teachers have a wider range of wisdom and numerous experiences to share with their students. Despite being grown-ups, adults would still encounter challenges especially when starting new things or acquiring new sets of skills. In this case, teachers’ guidance, especially in a classroom setting where interaction is present, is highly needed. With useful feedback, hands-on experience, and one-on-one coaching with a specialist, effective learning results can be much quickly achieved compared to self-learning.

In conclusion, although self-study brings benefits, if a person wants to gain greater results in a shorter time, I concur that studying with teachers makes a better choice.
