In many parts of the world, children and teenagers are committing more crimes, what are the causes? How should these young criminals to be punished?
2. 思路提纲
3. 高分范文示例
Recently, more and more criminal cases reported by the media involve youngsters. This phenomenon is caused by various factors, and despite their age, they should still be punished appropriately.
As for the causes, several are to blame. Firstly, the lack of parental supervision is the most significant reason. In contemporary society, many parents are usually occupied with their work. In fact, they even work on the weekends, leaving less time for playing with children or eating dinner with their teenage sons and daughters. Because of these, those youngsters are not taught the difference between right and wrong, so they end up stealing, doing drugs, drinking, or bullying. Another cause of juvenile delinquency is the advent of technology. Social media, in particular, normalize violence among many children and teenagers. As an example, there are role-playing online games that teach young people to plan crimes, hold a gun, kill people, and so on. The activities desensitize young minds to violence, making them criminals in the end.
Nevertheless, even though the youth can be lawbreakers, suitable punishments must be adopted. Mainly, parents should impose non-corporal penalties on their young ones who carry out certain crimes. These include confiscating their electronic devices, assigning them more household chores, reducing their allowance, or prohibiting them from playing outdoors. In addition, the community should also be involved in giving sanctions to minors. A good case in point is unpaid community service. This can not only lessen children and teenagers’ gadget time, but also teach them good morals and a sense of responsibility.
In conclusion, technology and lack of good parenting are primarily behind juvenile crimes. In order to prevent young offenders from becoming fully mature criminals, punishments should be administered collaboratively by parents and communities.

1. 题目及其大意
Some people think the best way to solve traffic congestion in cities is to provide free public transport 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
2. 思路提纲
3. 高分范文示例
As the issue of road congestion worsens day by day, more and more individuals are suggesting unlimited, no-charge public transportation as the most ideal solution. I partially agree with this notion based on the following reasons.
On the one hand, I will never deny that once public transport is offered for free 24 hours a day, seven days a week, citizens will highly be encouraged to leave their cars at home. Instead, they may opt for a more suitable mode of transport. With the decrease in the number of private cars on the road, traffic jams will be placed at a minimum. To illustrate further, an average bus carries between 30 and 100 passengers. This means that approximately 15 to 50 private vehicles will not be driven on a daily basis, and that is for one bus alone.
On the other hand, I also find it true that other people still place higher regard on convenience than cost, manifesting that free transport is not always effective in reducing traffic. Businessmen, in particular, are less likely to take a subway to get to and from the office just to save money. Similarly, a mother of three primary school students may prioritize a convenient and air-conditioned ride through their own car over a crowded metro. Hence, due to people’s preferences, let alone their high income, free transportation would not address traffic congestion that much.
In conclusion, although saving money is attractive for some commuters, others value comfort more than price. Thus, I partly concur with the stance that no-cost public transport ride tackles congestion on roads.

1、题目及其大意
Some people regard the increasing business and cultural contact between counties as a positive development. Others, However, feel these lead to the loss of national identities. Discuss both view and give your opinion.
2、思路提纲
3、高分范文示例
The rapidly growing commercial and cultural exchange between different nations
brings significant benefits to individuals and society. However, others claim that it
only results in the disappearance of our national distinction. I think both sides are
sensible.
On the one hand, it is true that the escalation of trade and cultural activities among
countries brings about certain advantages. Firstly, thanks to the increasing cultural
contact, we now have access to new cultures that bring us much joy. For example,
even without having to travel abroad, we can easily eat foreign food, watch a foreign
movie, or wear western clothes. Secondly, with speedy business contact among
nations, the standard of living in developing nations has seen improvements. For
instance, studies show that numerous job opportunities have been created due to
increasing business exchanges. More specifically, international companies put up
offices and branches in other regions, particularly developing ones, helping address
their high unemployment rate.
On the other hand, it cannot be denied that the above activities also lead to the loss of
national identities. Primarily, some long-established traditional cultures have already
been lost. In Cambodia, as a good case in point, some of their local food has been
forgotten due to the popularization of international food such as hamburgers and pizza.
In addition, we have also seen decreased use of traditional clothing, which is also
associated with our national identity. To exemplify, in the Philippines, the sale and
wearing of traditional clothes like baro’t saya went down, while foreign brands like
Chanel or Louis Vuitton increased.
In conclusion, I concur that both views are acceptable. Nevertheless, we have to
urgently deal with the loss of our unique identity due to globalization before it is
entirely forgotten.
